![]() ![]() Has anyone got any experience of installing other software on these devices? I'm not sure what's involved in getting them to 'drop into' Windows CE but I like the idea of aerial imagery or even 1:25k OS maps being displayed in my dash in real time, or even just run other Windows CE software on it! ![]() (do an ebay search for "Dual Zone GPS" and check out the specs) A lot of double-din car DVD/GPS head units now run Windows CE. This got me thinking, being a bit of a geek. He bought and installed Memory Map Mobile and some maps (including aerial photos), it was very impressive and tracked the cars movement/heading whilst panning the aerial imagery. A friend of mine has a cheap car GPS (I forget which make, it's not a big one like Tomtom or Navman though) that he was able to get it to drop into the Windows CE operating system on it. ![]()
